Tarek El Moussa is the star and co-star of several hit HGTV shows, including Flip or Flop, Flipping 101, and The Flipping El Moussas. He brings together nearly 90 million viewers with his shows having ranked as the number one cable show in their time slots. In addition to successfully flipping more than 1,000 properties over the years, Tarek is a family man, successful Entrepreneur, Real Estate Expert and Investor with a portfolio of over 250 properties, multiple apartment buildings and self-storage facilities. He is the founder of Tarek Buys Houses—a wholesale and fix and flip real estate company, Homeschooled by Tarek—a real estate education company, TEM Capital—a real estate investment company, Home by THEM—a luxury home line, and The Agentcy by Tarek—a real estate team.
Tarek’s number one priority is being a hands-on husband and father and spending time with his wife, Heather Rae, and three children, daughter Taylor and sons Brayden and Tristan. In 2012, Tarek sold the idea of a house flipping show to HGTV Flip or Flop with a guarantee of ten episodes. Ten years later, with more than 150 episodes and over 90 million viewers since its premiere on April 16, 2013, the series became an instant hit, continuously ranking as the #1 cable program in prime among multiple demos in the timeslot.
